Armed Security Officer

**Summary**

The Armed Security Officer **provides first response to emergencies** , **enforces federal law and assimilated state law** , and **conducts mobile patrols** to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and government assets.

**Responsibilities**

+ **Provide access control and traffic control** , ensuring safe and secure movement throughout the facility, and conduct both walking and motorized armed security patrols.
+ **Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, and facility checks** , including package and parcel inspections, in accordance with established security procedures.
+ **Work flexible hours** , including weekends and holidays, as required to support operational needs.
+ **Perform other duties as assigned** in support of overall security operations.

**Qualifications**

+ Minimum High School Diploma or GED.
+ Must be at least 21 years of age.
