Job Description

The Lead of the Division of Neurology will be an effective leader, with strong organizational, administrative, interpersonal and collaborative skills, who is able to engage, inspire and motivate the Division members. The Division Lead shall be accountable to the Department Lead of Medicine with respect to all matters regarding the management, organization, and functioning of the division including regulatory, academic and administrative roles and responsibilities. The Division Lead works closely with the Acute Care and Medicine portfolio managers and directors to ensure safe and reliable care delivery to all patients. They report to the Department Lead of Medicine and to the Area Chief of Staff regarding physician performance, Executive Director/Vice President regarding care delivery, and Provincial Department Head regarding academics.
