An Arborist performs specialized arboricultural work in the planting, removal, and maintenance of urban trees.

Duties

• Plants, prunes, tops, falls and removes trees; identifies diseased trees and performs surgery & repair (e.g., cleaning affected areas, cabling and bracing, etc.).
• Performs other duties associated with the urban tree maintenance program, including stump grinding, root removal, fertilizing, etc.
