Arborist

We are a small team wishing to recruit an arborist as a support to the lead climber and supervisor. As an Arborist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our beautiful green spaces across Dorset. You will be involved in a variety of arboricultural tasks, from tree climbing and pruning to managing and maintaining equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys physical work, and is eager to develop their skills in arboriculture.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting in the daily management and maintenance of trees and green infrastructure
• Undertaking arboriculture work, including tree climbing, pruning, and felling
• Operating and maintaining vehicles, chainsaws, and other equipment safely
• Performing grounds maintenance and site management tasks
• Ensuring all Health & Safety Risk Assessments are completed
