Ar Accountant I (León)

Overview

Revenue Accounting is responsible for managing and administrating the revenue for North America. The Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant will join a team of 10 employees located in Chicago, Leon, and Eindhoven. The role reports to the North America Accounting Team Lead based in Leon.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Perform daily cash management duties, including recording bank deposits and posting cash to the accounts receivable sub‑ledger.
• Reconcile the accounts receivable sub‑ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted, including associated taxes.
• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ AR issues.
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending billing reminders and contacting clients.
• Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status, including an AR aging report.
