Aquatic Group Fitness Instructor – Contract Basis

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Group Fitness Instructor to undertake Aqua fitness classes on a contract basis. The Aqua Fitness Instructor will develop and safely deliver 45-minute aqua fitness classes, including Aqua-Fit and Aqua-Deep, for a range of ages and abilities.

Locations & Schedule

Classes are held across four city pools: Baywave, Greerton, Te Puke and Otumoetai. Schedules range from morning to midday and evenings, on weekdays and weekends. Flexibility around location and time of day is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and safely deliver 45-minute aqua fitness classes (Aqua-Fit and Aqua-Deep).
• Lead dynamic, full-body workouts that cater to a wide range of age groups and abilities.
• Maintain a customer-centric, energetic approach and ensure participant safety and proper technique.
• Operate as a contractor, managing own tax obligations and insurance as required.
