:This course provides an introductory study of general principles of insurance law. The course will address the formation and interpretation of insurance contracts, agency issues, insurable interest, the duty of good faith, misrepresentation, insurance reform, subrogation as well as the compensatory regime for motor vehicle accident claims. The aim of the course is to provide students with practical knowledge of insurance policies and concepts as well as an understanding of the current legislative and regulatory insurance schemes.Posting limited to:
