:This course will examine how the formal and stylistic aspects of literature have shaped conversations in literary studies. Topics may include the interrelation of form and social movements; experimental writing; constraint and creative games; avant-garde traditions; problems of genre; form and popular culture; the rise of the novel; definitions of “the literary”; and style and identity.Posting limited to:
