**Job Overview**

The Apprentice Moldmaker will learn the fundamentals of mold construction, maintenance, and repair while working alongside experienced moldmakers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in precision manufacturing, machining, CAD/CAM and skilled trades.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assist in the construction, assembly, and repair of plastic injection and die cast molds
+ Learn to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications
+ Operate and maintain shop equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, and CNC machines (training provided)
+ Perform basic bench work including fitting, polishing, and spotting molds
+ Support mold troubleshooting, maintenance, and preventative care
