Apprentice B Lineman - APB (APC)

Position Summary

The Apprentice B Lineman is your first step to a rewarding career in the construction and maintenance of our nation's Power Grid. You will report to the Foreman.

Essential Functions
+ Perform new construction, maintain and repair de ‑ energized powerlines while putting safety first.
+ Help install and repair overhead transmission lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
+ You will perform rigorous physical labor and regularly lift heavy tools and equipment.
+ Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good work order.
+ Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, wind, and inclement weather.
+ Available to work outages, storms, emergencies including on call rotation.
+ Inspect rubber goods and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
+ Follow all safety protocols and understand when to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
