SUMMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB: The Application Engineer Associate is responsible for supporting customers, as well as other members of the sales team, by providing technical support and resolving technical issues to maximize design win success. The Application Engineer Associate is expected to obtain knowledge on ball bearings and precision mechanical products and apply learned knowledge on related products, business processes, and sales practices. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Business Development - In conjunction with the Account Managers, support efforts to identify and penetrate new accounts in target markets, qualify new accounts and opportunities, and secure new business.
Relationship Development/Communications - External - Visit customers regularly, either independently or with Account Managers, for interactive customer engineering discussions.
