Role: AS400 Developer
Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL)
Domain: Core Banking
1. Project Overview
This is a pure development role, not a production support role.
The system has been existing for the past 15 years (not built from scratch).
Project is related to Core Banking Payment Platform.
Focus is on bank account-based payments, not digital/card payments.
System supports 10 countries across APAC region.
2. Mandatory Technical Skills
Candidates must have:
AS400
COBOL
DB2
Banking domain experience
Strong development background (technically strong developers)
Note:
ALDON / JIRA is not mandatory.
3. Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
However, candidates with 3 years of solid real-time development experience can also be considered.
