AOD Support Worker

Mirikai is a specialist residential rehabilitation service on the Gold Coast for young adults aged 18 to 35. The program is delivered in six-week cycles, with flexibility based on need, and forms part of a continuous package of care that includes support before admission and after discharge.

Your opportunity

Working as a Casual Support Worker at our Mirikai Residential Alcohol and Drug Treatment Centre, you’ll provide support and supervision to clients undertaking the six-week treatment program. This role includes sleepover shifts, so the applicant must be comfortable working alone overnight and must have open availability.

What does this mean?

Well you’ll help to keep our clients emotionally safe while supporting and monitoring activities of the program. You’ll assist with medications, support guided meditations, and provide general help and support to clients during the day.
