Job Summary

Performs systematic disease surveillance and detection by conducting routine farm visits and biosecurity audits to the CG farms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists in the epidemiological evaluation of disease outbreak, disease movement, and seasonality of disease to establish preventive measures
• Assists in the proper and accurate disease diagnosis in farms with suspected disease outbreak by conducting appropriate diagnostic methods.
• Collects and submits laboratory samples in a timely manner as 1) dictated by serological and microbiological monitoring program or 2) any other related sampling programs or 3) as necessary like in cases of disease outbreaks.
• Aids in establishing baseline titers of CG farms by collecting samples for serological examination and systematic compilation of the results
