Anesthesia Technician

UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a full-time Anesthesia Technician to support a fast-paced, team-focused environment across multiple procedural areas, including the Operating Room, Labor & Delivery, GI, Cath Lab, IR, MRI, and additional anesthesia locations. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring safe, efficient anesthesia care by preparing equipment, supporting providers, and assisting with procedures. This position offers varying shifts and includes on-call requirements. Prior anesthesia experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare, set up, and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical and procedural cases across all supported areas. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure readiness.
+ Assist anesthesia providers (Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, PAs) with patient care by preparing medications, IVs, invasive line setups, and sterile trays for procedures.
