Analytical Chemist

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic professional to join our team as an Analytical Chemist in Whitby, ON. This is an on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Document all experimental data in compliance with ALCOA principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate).
• Independently conduct HPLC, dissolution, and physical testing analysis according to established Analytical Methods and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Demonstrate proficiency with Empower, NuGenesis, LIMS, SM, MS Word, and Excel software.
• Perform basic troubleshooting to address system suitability failures.
• Follow method validation protocols and conduct method validation bench work.
• Support testing for Excipient Compatibility Studies (ECS).
• Immediately report unexpected or Out of Specification (OOS) results to the Supervisor and assist with laboratory investigations as d...
