 Summary: The overall role is to ensure supply of materials to meet production plans & sales plans taking into consideration contracts, batch sizes, inventory policies and storage capacity. The scope includes procurement of raw materials of assigned categories for a group of plants.
The material planner will also lead the relationship Management activities with their suppliers, as they relate to operational or tactical processes.
What you’ll do for us:
Review and execute MRP suggestions and complementary routines to ensure the smooth supply of the assigned materials.
Support the Materials Review Board (MRB) & AOS (Age of Stock) processes
Onboard new suppliers and develop/maintain relationship with new and existing suppliers by performing regular performance reviews on suppliers’ delivery and drive improvements.
Seek productivity initiatives along with CPS sites and Suppliers link to lot size, pack size, MOQs....
