Anaesthetic Technician

About The Role

We are looking for an Anaesthetic Technician/Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) to join us at Mercy Hospital, in this role you will be an integral part of the team making a valuable contribution towards the safe delivery of Anaesthesia for a wide range of procedures.

In this position you will provide clinical and technical assistance to the Anaesthetist and contribute to the maintenance of high quality and safe administration of anaesthesia and patient care including support to the theatre team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, technical and clinical assistance to Anaesthetists.
• Provide safe administration of anaesthesia to patients.
• Anticipate problems and exceptional patient care.
• Co-ordinate documentation to ensure the patient receives effective care.
• Participation in quality improvement processes and activities.
