ALUMINUM DIE CAST SETUP TECHHOURS: 1ST SHIFTWAGE: $24-$30/HOURPosition SummaryThe Aluminum Die Cast Set Up Technician is responsible for preparing, setting up, and adjusting high-pressure aluminum die casting machines and tooling in support of daily production goals. This role requires hands-on mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and safety in a fast — paced manufacturing environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSet up aluminum die casting machinery per job orders and production schedules. Install, remove, and align dies, cores, shot tips, and other tooling components. Perform die changes safely and efficiently to minimize machine downtime. Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and hoists to move dies and equipment as needed. Make process adjustments (temperature, pressure, cycle timing) to optimize part quality. Produce first-piece samples and coordinate approvals with Quality Control before full production runs. <...
