Airport Driver

Location: Manchester Airport

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (night and day shifts), 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour

Reporting To: Operations Manager

We are looking for a member of the PRM Airside Driver Team to drive our specialist vehicles on the airfield to transfer passengers with reduced mobility (PRMs) between aircraft and terminal building. The vehicles range from minibuses to class 2 rigid heavy goods vehicles; full training will be provided and a class 2 licence is not required. The role also involves assisting PRMs onto aircraft, to their seat or into ABM vehicles or terminal buildings using safe manual handling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete the daily Vehicle Check Sheet to maintain operational reliability and report any vehicle defaults in line with inspection procedures.
• Drive the company vehicles, ensuring they are safe and secure at all times.
