Aircraft tradesperson

About the Role

Christchurch Engine Centre is recruiting multiple qualified Level 4 Aircraft Tradespeople (permanent, full‑time) to support the expansion of maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine in New Zealand. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in aviation, mechanical, heavy diesel, automotive, electrical or related trades . This role is based onsite in Christchurch, NZ.

The ideal candidate is willing to work rotating shifts and overtime, demonstrates strong attention to detail, prioritises safety, follows established procedures, and has a proactive approach to learning. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a world‑class aerospace team, with ongoing training and professional development.

Hours of Work

In this full‑time position you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern (One-week day shifts: 7:00am–3:30pm and one‑week night shifts: 3:45pm–12:15am).
