Job Description

Position Description
The primary purpose of the job is to perform specified operations as directed in the disassembly, cleaning, overhaul, repair, test and installation of aircraft oxygen and related components. The incumbent is required to be qualified to perform Aviation Life Support System (ALSS) related work.

Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will overhaul, repair, test oxygen breathing regulators, support equipment regulators, aircraft oxygen, fire extinguisher and ground support equipment pressure gages and capacity gages.
You will overhaul, repair, and test aircraft liquid oxygen components such as, pressure switches, pressure opening and closing valves, shut off valves, check valves, regulators, and converters.
You will utilize all types of special and standard hand tools in order to test air conditioning and heating ducts, aircraft fuel ducts and engine bleed air ducts.
