Aircraft Mechanic II, MWO Inspector

Aircraft Mechanic II serves as a Quality Control Technical inspector and performs Quality Control functions for the Modification Work Order (MWO) team.

**Responsibilities**

+ Performs inspection of MWO installations and MWO kit builds, ensuring that work is completed according to service guidance and local procedures.
+ Maintains historical records and approves MWO installation work for assigned MWOs. Will coordinate for government QAR acceptance of MWO installations.
+ Completes and approves local MWO installation packets.
+ Enters MWO compliance records in both ACN and MCDS.
+ Will request MECs through government LARs for maintenance that exceeds normal MWO allowances/directives.

**Qualifications**

+ Must be a U.S. citizen.
+ Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
+ A minimum of 10 years in rotary wing aviation maintenance with an emphasis on electrical/avionic experience.
