Aircraft Mechanic EGRESS - NAWDC GT

+ The Aircraft Mechanic Egress (AME) performs organizational, intermediate and limited depot level maintenance to include inspection, operational test, repair, modification and troubleshooting on all assigned aircraft, components and equipment. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance and instruction to other employees as needed.
+ Maintains FA-18E/F, EA-18G, E-2C and MH-60S aircraft in accordance with Navy, manufacturer and company distributors.
+ Responsible for all egress system on and off equipment maintenance
+ Removes, transports, inspects, repairs and reinstalls ejection seats.
+ Inspects, repairs and cleans seat harnesses.
+ Inventories, stores, removes and replaces seat CAD/PAD explosive items
+ Maintains environmental system on
+ Maintains, inspects canopy explosive devices.
+ Maintains and inspects on board oxygen generating system (OBOGS) & Liquid Oxygen (LOX).
