Aircraft Mechanic 2 (Line Operations)

Amentum is currently seeking a qualified Aircraft Mechanic II specialized in Line supervision in support of the U.S Naval Air Station maintenance operations at NAS Whidbey Island. The Aircraft Mechanic II is responsible for inspecting and performing organizational level maintenance/ modification on EA-18G aircrafts, sub-systems, support equipment and related weapons system. The Mechanic also advises and trains team members to solve unusual maintenance problems by running analysis and tests on missiles, airframes, engines, flight control, pneudraulic, fuel, electrical/electronic systems, etc.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

Service, repair aircraft, and aircraft engines to ensure serviceability. Repair and replace, aircraft structures, landing gear, power plants, fuel systems (including cells, tanks, and fuel/metering control systems), and functional components using hand tools, power tools, rivet gun, and drills.
