The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the consultant for engineering issues related to aircraft arresting systems planning/design/construction/life-cycle management of equipment and infrastructure criteria that addresses safe standards for aircraft arrestment and engagement. Responsibilities Performs professional mechanical engineering work involved in the application of advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes in support of major mechanical systems and support programs for Aircraft Arresting Systems.
