Agriculture Specialist

Overview The Pictsweet Company is looking for an experienced Agriculture Specialist for our farms in the Dyersburg, TN area. The Ag Specialist will support and assist the farm team to grow and harvest our grown in the USA vegetables. Responsibilities Inspects all crops and makes pesticide recommendations. Maintains all RUP, WPS, and SDS records. Researches all available pesticides and new pesticides. Supervises soil sampling and makes fertilizer recommendations. Supvises field research regarding new products and practices. Maintains thorough production records. Assists Farm Management in all other day-to-day operations. Responsible for following all applicable safety standards. Oversees the handling of safety data sheets. Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulations relating to food safety and personnel safety such as FDA, USDA, OSHA, and TOSHA.
