Role Overview

Responsible for leading the Environment, Health and Safety function at the plant level. The role involves ensuring statutory compliance, implementing best-in-class safety practices, and driving a proactive safety culture across manufacturing operations in a highly regulated API/chemical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) activities for the API manufacturing site
• Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements including Factory Act, GPCB, CPCB, PESO and other local authorities
• Implement and monitor Process Safety Management (PSM) systems including HAZOP, HIRA, risk assessments and safety studies
• Oversee operation and compliance of environmental systems such as ETP, STP, air pollution control systems, and hazardous waste management
