About the role


Reporting to the Supervisor - Operations the purpose of this role is to be responsible for safe operations of an Underground Agitator to supply products ground support, shotcreting and delivery of concrete for construction work, to support mining and Operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating an underground agitator safely.

  • Batching the required mix using the surface Batch Plant.

  • Ensuring quality and assurance of loads and conducting testing as required.

  • Installing and repairing services and ventilation in all development and production headings as required.

  • Operating the Shotcreter as required.

  • Plating and tensioning installed cables as required.

  • Assisting with production drill hole site setup as required.

  • Performing thorough pre-start checks on all equipment and reporting any damage.
