Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a strong focus on solid mechanics, fatigue, and machine elements
• 4-7 years of professional experience, ideally in stress, structural, or mechanical analysis roles

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in aerospace environments
• Experience with the following tools: CATIA, Ansys, AVL Simulation Suite, MATLAB, Python

Job Summary

Insight Global is seeking a Transmission Components Structures Engineer to join a top aerospace company in Longueuil, QC. This role is 5x week onsite.

In this role, you will assess the durability and integrity of internal transmission parts, solve complex mechanical design issues on in-service engines, and collaborate with specialists to validate designs through analysis and testing. You’ll also document and communicate results clearly to support engineering decisions.
