About the role

As the Emergency Management Advisor at Ernest Henry Operations, you’ll lead how the site prepares for and responds to emergency situations. Reporting to the Senior Advisor – Risk, Health & Safety, you’ll take ownership of emergency response capability, building a strong, ready and well-trained Emergency Response Team (ERT) while ensuring systems meet site and legislative requirements. This is a hands-on role where you’ll combine emergency response expertise with training and leadership, playing a key role in keeping people safe and prepared.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
Leading and developing the site’s Emergency Response Team and overall response capability

Delivering training, simulations and coaching to build site-wide emergency preparedness

Providing emergency care and supporting response activities when required
