Advanced Pharmacy Practice Provider - 40 hrs/wk - Bingham Farms

GENERAL SUMMARY:Under the direction of Ambulatory Clinical Pharmacy Services, the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Provider (APPP) provides oversight and leadership for appropriate medication use within their region of the health system. The APPP works closely with the medical and administrative leadership as well as the primary care providers to develop and implement strategies which continuously improve the quality of patient care at the best value for the patient and our health system. The APPP serves as an essential member of the ambulatory care team to achieve and maintain improved patient health outcomes, enhanced patient experience, reduced health care costs, and improved provider work life balance. The APPP practices at the top of licensure and with expanded scope of practice through a collaborative practice agreement (CPA).
