The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed hospital in Las Vegas, New Mexico, to hire a full-time Advanced Patient Care Technician (APCT) for the Emergency Department. The APCT supports physicians and nursing staff in providing efficient, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room by assisting with patient monitoring, procedures, documentation, and team-based care to ensure safe, timely, and compassionate treatment. What Youll Do Key Responsibilities: Greet, assess, and assist patients with immediate care needs in the ER Accurately document patient conditions, treatments, and interactions while maintaining confidentiality Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and care teams to deliver timely, safe, and effective care Perform clinical duties within scope of practice, including: Vital signs monitoring Point-of-care testing Phlebotomy EKGs Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Support emergency interventions and patient management as needed Maintain a clean, organized,...
