Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
: As an Advanced Materials & Technology Engineer reporting to the Sr. Engineering Manager, you are responsible for the development, evaluation, and implementation of advanced materials and processes for interconnect technologies.
Evaluate and assess new materials (polymers, metals, coatings, composites, etc.) and processes to support Amphenol's technology roadmap.
Conduct lab- and pilot-scale experiments to prototype and validate emerging technologies and their processes for next-generation designs.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for product and process issues involving materials.
Support material characterization, reliability testing, and performance benchmarking.
Collaborate with Development, NPI, Signal and Mechanical Integrity teams to identify material challenges and translate findings into manufacturable solutions.
