Adult Education Teacher-Part Time

POSITION TITLE: ADULT ED TEACHER (PART-TIME)



QUALIFICATIONS:


+ Arkansas Teacher certification

+ Background in teaching, training, counseling or testing

+ Adult education experience preferred


REPORTS TO: Coordinator of Adult Education



JOB GOAL: JOB GOALS: To work with district staff to develop and to provide curriculum, instruction, and a classroom atmosphere that accommodate the unique learning styles, learning rates, interests, abilities, and social and emotional needs to adult education students.



PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for teaching Adult Basic Education, basic skills courses using instructional methods geared toward the adult learner in a classroom setting.
