About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the university as an Admissions Assistant. You’ll play a key part in delivering a high‑quality, applicant‑focused admissions service. You’ll support the full lifecycle of application processing—creating and updating applicant records, making initial decisions against set criteria, and ensuring that every decision is accurate, consistent, and aligned with university procedures. You’ll also help applicants feel supported and informed through clear, timely communication.
Your work will span a wide range of activities, from coordinating interview arrangements and preparing applicant documentation to assisting with enrolment, DBS checks, and welcome events. You’ll collaborate closely with academic teams, professional services, and external bodies such as UCAS and the DfE to resolve queries and keep processes running smoothly.
