Summary The War-Related Illnesses and Injury Study Center (WRIISC) is established at the Washington, D.C. Veterans Affairs Medical Center. The goal and objective of the center is to create a center of excellence where advancement and integration of research, clinical care, education and risk communication will improve the health of military personnel and veterans who served in a theatre of combat operations or in any area where hostilities occurred.
