Responsibilities This position is located in the Director's Office of the National Institute of Corrections (NIC), Washington, DC. Provides administrative and technical support to the Director, Senior Deputy Director, Executive Assistant, Administrative Officer, and Correctional Program Specialists by implementing office procedures and policies to effectively coordinate and monitor the administrative functions and processes of the Institute. Receives, screens, and routes all incoming mail; receives phone calls, ascertaining the nature of the request and directing calls to appropriate staff or providing information on routine and procedural matters.
