Job Description

Job Scope: Admin Clerk (Attendance Management)

1. Attendance Monitoring

  • Record daily staff attendance using manual logs, biometric systems, or attendance software
  • Monitor clock-in and clock-out times for all employees
  • Ensure attendance data is accurate, complete, and updated daily

2. Leave & Absence Tracking

  • Track employee leave (annual, medical, unpaid, emergency)
  • Verify supporting documents such as medical certificates or leave forms
  • Record absences, late arrivals, and early departures

3. Overtime & Shift Records

  • Record overtime hours and shift schedules
  • Ensure overtime approvals are properly documented
  • Prepare overtime summaries for payroll processing

4. Payroll Support

  • Prepare monthly attendance and leave reports for payroll submission
  • Coordinate with HR/Payroll to resolve attendance discrepancies
