Job Description

The Department of Psychology in the College of Arts and Sciences at Widener University invites applications for the position of adjunct professor of psychology. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including, but not limited to):


Essential duties:

  • Teach up to three sections of Introductory Psychology. This course should introduce students to the science of Psychology, which studies the biological, cognitive, personal, and social processes that influence behavior and experience.

  • Creating syllabi and assignments, and evaluating student work based on course goals

  • Maintain regular weekly office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students enrolled in assigned courses.
