Position Summary:
The Foundations and Social Advocacy department is establishing a pool of applicants to fill potential part-time temporary teaching positions.
Starting Salary: Adjunct positions pay $4500 per 3 credit hour course; Student Teacher positions pay $450 per placement, per quarter
Major Responsibilities:
The department typically hires for the courses/subject areas listed below but this list is not all inclusive. Other courses/subject areas may become available within the department.
Illustrative needs include: Supervision for Student Teaching and teaching any of the following courses; SPE 270: Introduction to Special Education; SPE 275: Introduction to Special Education (Secondary Education); FSA 103: Gender, Race, and Class Issues in Education; FSA 212: Introduction to Inclusive Education; FSA 340: Students with Complex Disabilities in Schools and Families; FSA 400: Foundations of Education; FSA 411: Planning for Instructional Strategies in Spe...
