**POSITION SUMMARY.** Loras College invites applications for an adjunct faculty member to teach two sections of BUS317-Business Law for the Fall 2026 semester beginning in August.

Business Law provides students with a study of the foundations of legal systems as well as legal concepts relating to contracts, employment, property, constitutional issues, torts, and crimes. It also covers identification of legal issues as well as determination and application of legal concepts to reach legal conclusions. Additional topics include the role of business ethics and corporate social responsibility, the formation and operation of contracts, and of the laws regarding negligence, property, and government regulation of business.
