**Job Summary:**

Diagnoses, prevents, or treats disease based on traditional Chinese medical concepts of treating specific areas of the human body, known as acupuncture points or meridians.

**Job Responsibilities and Requirements:**

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Collects medical histories and general lifestyle information from patients. Assess patient’s general physical appearance to properly treat.
+ Educates patients on topics such as meditation, ergonomics, stretching, exercise, nutrition, the healing process, breathing, and relaxation techniques.
+ Administers treatment through the use of manual, thermal, or electrical stimulation; acupuncture needles and moxibustion.
+ Maintains and follows standard quality, safety, and environmental infection control procedures.
