We are currently looking to recruit a full time Band 3 Activity Co-ordinator. As part of modernisation of learning disability services, Hafod Y Wennol is looking for a candidate who is interested in working with individuals assessed as suitable for step down from low secure and locked rehab facilities. 

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work closely with the nursing team and feedback to the multi-disciplinary team providing activities and rehabilitation to support individuals to live independently in their local area. Previous experience in a similar area of work would be beneficial, with knowledge and experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues, a forensic history and who may present with complex Behaviours that challenge.
