Position Summary:
Plan, organize, develop, and direct the Activity Department to ensure programs are delivered in accordance with patient assessments, and needs, to improve their individual physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in similar position for children, seniors, special needs etc. preferred
- Ability to motivate and encourage patients, adapting activities to the cognitive and functional ability of each patient to improve life skills
- Lead, inspire and support team members and volunteers to engage patients in meaningful, purposeful activities throughout the day and evening
- Ability to multi-task and treat everyone at work professionally
- Outstanding written, verbal, organizational and time management skills
