Activities Assistant:
Partime/Fulltime/ EOW
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Must have a passion to work with the Residents to enhance their quality of life.
+ Must be a Team Player!
+ Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents.
+ Assists residents with outside activities and hobbies.
+ Assists residents with arts and crafts activities.
+ Assists residents with group activities.
+ Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar.
+ Completes Activities Participation Records.
+ Complete initial Activity Assessments and Quarterly Progress Notes.
+ Every other weekend - flexible hours
Position Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent
+ Ability to supervise group recreational activities.
+ Prior experience in a nursing home preferred....
