JOB TITLE: ACTIVE 6 COACH
Status: part-time, Y job grade 6 ( August- May)
Wage: $18.49/hr
Hours: 30/week, must be available during after school hours
Reports to: Director of Program & Member Services
Probation: Subject to a 12-month introductory (probationary) period
Revision Date: 06/2026
POSITION SUMMARY: The YMCA’s Active 6 program plays an important role in the community, helping 6th graders form healthy habits and remain active. Active 6 gives all 6th graders in Missoula County free membership to the YMCA. Active 6 programming is aimed at getting the kids moving for 20-30 minutes, eating a healthy snack, engaged in a group discussion about a weekly topic, and participating in a teambuilding activity to help the participants come to...
