A busy commercial construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support multiple active construction projects. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has experience processing subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and job cost coding.
Responsibilities
+ Review and process subcontractor and vendor invoices
+ Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation
+ Code invoices to the appropriate jobs and cost codes
+ Prepare payment runs and maintain payment schedules
+ Reconcile vendor statements
+ Respond to vendor inquiries professionally
+ Assist with month-end accounting activities
Requirements
+ 2–3 years of accounts payable experience
+ Construction accounting experience preferred
+ Knowledge of job costing and lien waivers is a plus
