Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to support a transportation equipment manufacturing organization in Rochester Hills, Michigan. This contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting specialist who can manage invoice processing, vendor payment activity, and account reconciliation with accuracy and consistency. The person in this role will work closely with vendors and internal teams to keep payables operations running smoothly while helping maintain strong financial controls.

Responsibilities:
• Process a high volume of supplier invoices with accurate general ledger assignments and appropriate purchase order and receipt validation.
• Investigate billing discrepancies, resolve payment exceptions, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to clear outstanding issues promptly.
