Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in New York, New York for a Contract position during the month of August. This role will support a high-volume invoice environment and help maintain timely, accurate payment processing while providing coverage during a short-term team absence. The ideal candidate brings hands-on accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in an onsite setting.

Responsibilities:
• Handle end-to-end accounts payable activities for a large monthly invoice volume, ensuring transactions are reviewed and completed accurately.
• Assign appropriate account codes, organize invoice batches, and prepare items for timely payment processing.
• Execute payment activities including ACH transactions, wire transfers, and check runs in accordance with established procedures.
